Which factor brings the most increased risk for ectopic pregnancy?

a) HPV
b)Hx of DES exposure inutero
c)Previous ectopic
d)Hx ofPID
e)Intrauterine device in place(IUD)
f)Tubal ligation in the last 2 years

previous ectopic

PID in history

I thought it was previous ectopic also:

1)HPV is a distractor
2) The others are all risk factors
****But Hx of PIDis associated withthe highest risk an eight fold increase in ectopics!
So bozhenka is correct

Bozhenka is defenitely right, PID is the commonest and it is good to know that Gonnorhea is a typical case for this; symptomless in females(unlike males!!) , they dont seek medical care, becomes complicated as PID, tubal scarring and Ectopic preg.
that's why SCREENING for it which might be concomittent to any other STD is highly recommended in Active Adults.
