Hey everyone. Im a fresh starter (1st subject and 1st read!). Im plannin on taking my usmle on 31st december 2010. I started Goljan but found it very extensive so i switched to kaplan pathology notes 2010. Theyre pretty concise and whenever i open goljan, i find the kaplan notes to be deficient. Anyone who has taken the exam recently, if you could shed some light on how to tackle pathology, i'd be very grateful. Should i go for Goljan or stick to kaplan? Im aiming for a99 by the way if that makes any difference in your advice.

Ok you need to dig in deep at first, Goljan is fine to start and Goljan path is better then Kaplan. Do not rush Step one is harder then any test you took in Medical school, in fact its probably the hardest test you will ever take. You need to get online Q bank as well and do 50 questions a day.

What QBank do you advise? USMLE world? And is it advisable to do the question side by side it the first read?
