a married businessman with two daughters was diagnosed with hypertension, he is smoker , what is the best factor to determine compliance in this case ?

1-socioeconomic class
2- Gender
3- Age
4- Patient knowledge of the severity of his condition
5- marital status

well guys i got really confused here , i know that patient has to fully understand his case , so i think number 4 is the answer i think if he understood his case n the role of medication he will have the motivation to adhere to the medications , why did u guys pick number 5 ? why not number 1 for example ?

Compliance...the most important is patient/doctor bonds...that's includes how well doctor will communicate to the pt all info about his condition and how far the pt trust the doctor. Age, gender, marriage, job has nothing to do with complience, the second what can influence complaence is cost of treatment and affordability. So, the right answer should be 4 if any.
