hi, i would be getting my EAD card soon.i would like to know whether i should check permanent resident or EAD visa in the ERAS application.I have been checking some of the posts here and someone had written that becoz she checked EAD visa in her application , she got only 3 interviews becoz most of the PDs did not know what EAD was. So is it wise to check permanent resident in the application and explain the 'adjustment to status' in the personal statement. Awaiting your advice eagerly, thanks in advance.

Most programs directors do understand what an EAD is. However, putting PR is a good idea, along with an explanation of EAD in the personal statement. Better to be safe than sorry, nicht wahr? Good luck
