I apologize my mistake it is involved in MEN 2 and 3 but those dont include gastric saromas, so that would not be a good choice. Please, any thoughs?

am asked what is the answer??
am not with ret
i exclude 3,4and 5

most of the gastric stromal tumors have mutations in c-KIT and PDGF receptor alpha genes, both of which have cytoplasmic tyrosine kinases, ultimately affecting this pathway.
so i'll go for 2.

hope it helps!
