add to that tricyclic antidepressants, cispride, thioridazine, and believe it or not erythromycin. So, what happens when you prolong the QT interval?

Torsades de pointes and u correct it by: 1. Discontinue the drugs 2. give magnesium 4.shorten the AP duration by giving isoprotenalol or electrical pacing...

fluroquinolones also prolong the QT interval
