How can we differentiate between undescended testes and retractile testes?

  #2

Ok,
a retractile testes has an increased cremasteric reflex.

So now how can we tell the difference???

ANYONE?

undescended ---> never been in scrotum before and can not be brought manually.
retractile ---> come and go from the scrotum , could be brought manually.

I will like to ask/add in the same topic/area
You have to wait x amount of time before you do surgery to the teste right?
I mean you give 2 years to descend.

  #6

Surgery is cosidered after one year only.smiling face

just solved this in UW. ya surgery considered after 1 year itself. also these boys are at 4 times increased risk of testicular cancer in the future.
