why does a person at 15000 ft does have normal arterial O 2 content despite lower arterial PO2 , O2 saturation which are far below normal ?


o2 content implies dissolved o2 and HB bound..since Hb increases in high altitude...o2 content will be normal smiling face


yep increased hematocrit
