The Wechsler adult intelligence scale is standardized IQ test with a mean of 100 and standard deviation of 15. A person with an IQ of 115 is at what percentile of IQ?

how did U calculate it?

100 is mean and SD is 15 .....

so if u draw a bell diagram with mean in centre with 100 ...

sd as given is 15 so 1st sdwill b - 115 (100+15)

2nd sd willl b 130 (100+15+15)

3rd sd willl b 145 (100+15+15+15)

ans as u know 1st sd is 68 % (34+34)

2nd sd is 95.5%

3rd sd is 99.7%

so now 115 is on 1st sd.......

so mean which is at 50 % plus u have to add area covering first sd = 34 % ie 84 %( 50 +34)

i hope this helped ......
