School is officially over! It's nice to know that I am no longer a second year med student, but then again, I am not quite a third year yet. The next couple months is going to be a long and lonesome journey. For the entire semester, I have been trying to not think about it. Yet, here it comes. I want to start this post, not just because I want to share my thoughts with my colleagues, but also because I want to give all the first years, premeds, a honest, detail pictures of what studying for board is like, at least my version of it. So, this is the first day! I have already read some of first aid during the school year. It is definitely the essential reference book for board preparation. Clear and concise. I have been using a new question bank called USMLExchange. I choose it because it's cheap, it offers tons of questions and it doesn't require a subscription. I think I am going to get Kaplan in a few weeks. I want to start with my least favorite discipline (while I still have the stamina): I.D. That's for today. Wish me luck!!!
