any spore former....most likely bacillus cereus, maybe taking about boiled rice...could be bacillus anthracis, clostridium species

Not just steam, steam under autoclave pressure. www.sterilizers.com/autocla...rature-pressure-chart.html This lists common autoclave times and pressures necessary to kill spores. We use 121/15 psi for most common bacterial media.
