If DNA comes from your parents...does that mean you have the same DNA as your whole family?

What decides what traits we get?

If there are only 23 pairs of chromosomes, why aren't there more people with teh same genetic code?

random recombination between paternal and maternal chromosomes and RANDOM makes no repeats - no REPEATED genome


But it is important to remember that mitochondrial DNA is only pass down from the mother to all her offspring...
