hi everybody talks about getting j1 waiver...anybody have any idea what percentage of j1 physicians actually get waiver ...and in which speciality there are more chances of getting a waiver

Every resident that I know of that looked for a waiver has gotten one. It's the H positions that are harder to get

there are rumors that they could change it to 5 y instead of 3 y, though. Let´s hope they don't do it.

BBB: after those 3 years, do you get a green card then or just a H1b? (H1b=extremely hard to find a fellowship, Green card=much easier to find a fellowship)
