I go with 1.ANA

4. aldolase..inital for suspected polymyosistis

most sensitive test-CK and aldolase

diagnostic test-muscle biopsy

I think it is Dermatomyositis which involves Skin-Polymyositis doesnt involve skin.Since muscle biopsy is confirmatory i chose ANA as initial.Hey study-ing cud you tell whereelse aldolase is used?As far as i know it is in Duchennes at birth. Thanks

oops ..meant dermato...sorry smiling face

shezooo! do u have a answer?

#9 correct aldolase...proximal muscle weakness.Gottron,s papules..and a halitropic rash make the diagnosis of polymyosities likely..the best initial diagnostic test is either serumCPK or aldolase.smiling face
