I've read from a book that IUGR fetus is different from smal-for-dates fetus, but it doesnt say what the difference is. So does anyone know what is the difference between these two?? thx

i guess small for dates baby is just a value..look at the weight at a given age and judge IUGR refers to the trend too..the baby may have an absoloute normal weight, but if we look at the growth curve, he/she might have not grown as much..
