A 25-year-old woman presents to your office with her husband. The couple has been married for 3 years and has been trying to conceive for the past 2 years without any results. Her husband is 30 years old and has a four-year-old daughter from a previous marriage. None of them have any chronic medical condition. Which of the following etiologic categories is most commonly involved in female infertility?
