A

  #3

nothing beats a direct visualisation by a lap procedure i would say though not the initial method.

  #4

BEST diagnostic test = laparoscopy.

  #5

what is the right answer? I want to know too

  #6

it must be D

  #7

yes. right ans is D.

(but isn't it invasive, just to confirm a diagnosis of it? is ultrasound and physical not enough?)

  #8

yes, i agree, it´s too invasive, in my country is not used to diagnose, with a good clinical history and an US is enough, but I don´t know how is it in USA.

  #9

even in the USA they do US not laparo unless complicated...raised eyebrow

  #10

ok, then it´s the same in clinical practice. Laparoscopy is just in real doubtful or complicated cases (or in a question of step 2ck grin).

  #11

CMDT ___Laproscopy is the surgical procedure of choice both to confirm an ectopic preg. and in most cases to permit pelviscopic removal of ect, preg. without the need for exploratory laparotomy.

  #12

since the Q is to confirm the diagnosis not the first line in diagnosis then d is the answer
