Define the velocity of vessel??? How can we measure it???

velocity- measured as distance/unit time. It is inversely proportional w/ cross sectional area.

Which vessel has the greatest velocity but has the smallest cross sectional area?

I read...

velocity: Displacement per unit time.......

We measure it by,

Injecting bile salts into arm vein.....bitter taste appear

normal average arm/tongue circulation time is 15 abow or below this time indicating velocity: BF/cross sectional area.

clear me if i am wrong.....raised eyebrow

why aorta has the smallest crosssectional area?

toatl area of ane aorta as compared to cappilaries which are thousands you well imagine why
