wht exactly do u mean by forced expiration? -for FEV it will be vital capacity -howver after tidal expration it will be fuctional residual capacity!

SDK -I always thought the answer to this was expiratory reserve vol. As far as I know the RV is left but cant be measured by spirometry. RV +ERV =FRC
