I have a couple of questions: 1. What are the 4 types of graded potentials? 2. Bone tissue is a hard and rigid tissue, while blood is a fluid tissue. Although very different from each other in physical properties, both tissues classified as being members of the same major tissue family. Why? what are the major characteristics of bone tissue and blood that allow these to perform their specialized functions? 3. What are the bones that articulates with: a. thumb joint - moving the thumb around in a circle 4. A weight-lifter attempts to lift a very heavy barbell. Initially, the barbell is (a) not moved but after a few seconds the barbell is (b) lifted off the floor. Soon afterward, the weightlifter (c) can no longer hold on, and lets the barbell fall to the floor. Describe the differences in the events occurring in the skeletal muscles that result in observation (a), (b), and (c). Can anyone help me out?
