What is SGLT & in which cells this occur???

sodium dependent gluose tansport! tye 1 & 2

present in intestinal epithelials and proximal tubule of kidney!

clinical correlatesticking out tonguet with diarrhea hving ORS .....glucose content hastens Na+ reabsorption!

generally we can say that glucose enters the cell by facilitated diffusion except the luminal membrane of epithelial cells (intestines, tubules) where it enters by Na- dependent glucose transport
