What causes pulmonary artery constriction: A decrease in PO2 in alveoli or in venous blood?

first of all it's pulmonary arteriolar constriction and secondly pulmonary vasculature is unique in the snse it constrics when there is hypoxia i.e. decrease in PAO2 not venous!

I think Hypoxia cause arteriolar constriction not arterial constriction.... :!:
