I've been reading some of your posts here but still have a few unanswered questions: how come in NY I have to pay their licensing fee of 800 USD before I can sit in for the USMLE step 3... what about the other states like Texas and CT... do they still require you to pay their licensing fees before registering for the step3 exam... m still baffled help, and how come unlike Step1 and step 2 ck, step 3 has no permanent price?? i read somewhere it's 585 usd, and then 625 usd... it's really confusing please help me....

i know that registeration fee differs from state to state, and even the eligiblity criteria differ...u can register with any state and take exam in any state...i mean u can register with california and sit at prometric of newyork to write exam... refer at www.fsmb.org lowest fee now is 625$ i guess...
