HELLO I'm new in this forum&I 'd like to ask why step 3 grades aren't taken too much into consideration such as the grades of step 1&2..Isn't step 3 exam essential for residency application??what matters most step 1,step2 or step 3?? thanx a lot

Hi.... There are 3 exams u need to take to get into residency: step 1 and step 2 (which consists of two parts CK and CSE) one written and the other practical . Once you are done with that ,you are ready to apply for residency. Step 3 is only for licencing purposes, you can take it either before or during residency depending on what state you are.
