comes to you with a history of intractable itching in the vulvar area and soreness during intercourse. This has been going on for 3moths. Upon exam, you noticed the vulva is red and appreas dry with scaly pathces. No lesion palpated. What's the most appropriate treatment?

a, observation
b, coposcopy
c, topical steroid
d, biopsy
e, surgery

is it d biopsy

why not C?
PLease explain

since for all vulvar lesions, always remember to biopsy!

Next question, if biopsy comes back and no vulvar malignancy found, what's best management?

now we should give topical steroid

then can you specify what kind of steroid cream?

clobetasol propionate 0.05% ointment
