Certain arthropods elaborate venom that, when introduced into the human body, can be clinically important. Select the symptom or sign tick venom is most likely to produce. (SELECT 1 FINDING)

B. An 11-year-old with dull, crampy pain around the site of a lesion on the legs that over the course of about an hour develops into painful spasms of the abdominal muscles
C. A 12-year-old with a chronic, necrotizing ulceration on his ankle
D. An 8-year-old who appears somewhat drunk reports he has a painful lesion on his arm, over the ensuing few hours he becomes irritable, agitated, and complains of blurred vision
