I'm quite confused about the Step 3 requirements esp with the 7 years window. I passed my Step1 1998 and Step 2 1997 and ECFMG certificate granted 1999. I don't know where to take the exams without a year of residency. State? What materials should I study esp with the CCS.Hope somebody can help me...

the usmle world CCS cases are what everyone recommends. you can try Conneticut 4 step 3 - they have no requirements except that u pass all the exams within 7 yrs

Thank you.7 yrs has lapse for my Step1 and 2,do you mean I have to take these again? What other states can take exams more than 7yrs?Can you give the website where I can look on the different states requirements for Step3?

go to fsmb.org. California has no requirements at all. U dont have to retake the steps as you have passed them all within 7 yrs- thats what i think at least
