name a drug that is capable of reducing both preload and afterload in treating CHF. WHICH ONE HELPS THE CONDITION BETTER?

  #2

Nitroglycerine could decrease both

  #3

thats correct. what about the second part of the Question. is preload reduction more beneficial or afterload reduction?

  #4

ACE inhibitor

In CHF afterload reduction is more beneficial than preload reduction.....as preload increases cardiac contractility increases(frank starling mechanism)
