Why does Hypercalcemia cause an increase in Mg2+ excretion? I know it has to do with magnesium and calcium both competing for reabsorption in the thick ascending limb. But I don't understand that specific relationship. I thought Hypercalcemia would cause increased magnesium excretion and decreased calcium reabsorption.
why is this?
I dont know, but through my readings i found out that Mg And Ca always go together, whenever one is in a state the other is in the that same state ...
i dont say that what i am saying is science god forbid, but this is what i have noticed during my readings ...
can u enlighten us my friends ?
