Hi, I'm going through HY cell and molecular biology and every genetic disease has its chromosome + region/band/sub band stated. Are these tested in the usmle? eg the location for gene XPA for xeroderma pigmentosum is stated as 9q22.3. Does the usmle actually test this stuff, or is memorizing upto 9q enough? thanks!
