I know it supposed to be no more after Feb 2013 any prematch, but what about programs that do not participate in the NRMP, aren't they already kind of prematch? as they stated in NRMP there might be few exceptions. I'm wondering how guys were able to get prematch? were the contacting the program director/coordinator directly and ask about whether they offering prematch post? Or how's that been done? Any helpful answer appreciated

If the program likes u exceptionally they will offer you pre match. You can hint it to them that u like the program so much that you are willing to accept out of match offers. This is after your interview

Nrmp rules now are all or none. Programs either go entirely into the match, or elect out, thus filling all their positions with prematch
