Hi everyone was wondering if you only put amylase and lipase in the work up only if your ddx has a pancreatic issue or are there other case where it is recommended?

If the patient has abdominal pain you can put amylase lipase in the work up. Espically if it is epigastric, associated with vomiting. I would not in other cases for example chest pain or constipation.
