i have a q in which a certain test is done to screen for cancer (lets say ca-125)-the value of the test comes out high (indicates possible cancer)- the sensetivity and the specificity are given (let's say 80% and 90 %) and they say that 10% of the women population actually has this cancer-what is the likehood that the specific woman has this cancer? how do i calculate this? thanks in advance!
