I took this course on april 2006...5 day course
there were 15 students from 13 countries.....2 teachers, they were both IMG's. IM residents in the US. everyday we would make 13-15 cases from one of the popular books...we would take turns to perform in front of th rest of the group, and then write the notes, which were submitted to revision by the teachers....everydays started at 8am and ended at 2pm
i have mixed emotions about the course....on the pro-side...i would say i have very limited time to study for cs and the course helped me focus and made me study 12 hours a day...for that im grateful....the course includes accomodations and free bfast and lunch, u can workout at the gym, go to the pool, they have free internet and printing service (i spent hours there)...so you pretty much dont have to worry about a thing.....other advantage I found from the course was that many ppl would come down around 7pm to practice some more...that was really helpful and gave us the opportunity to maximize our study and share some material...i actually spent the next week (course was over) practicing with a friend i knew at the course....so i had a very good experience after all...
the downside would be just one...the money!...it aint cheap, and i cannot tell any difference from the course thatn to gathering with 3 or 4 guys that are studying as well for the cs...that is the tricky part...i couldn get anyone to practice with me for 2 weeks, so i took the course.....
so...if u can afford the money and you have absolutely no one to practice with...take the course, you will not regret it......if u have ONE person to practice fulltime for 2 weeks with, taking turns being the patient and the dr and practicing notes..then please stay home and make 100 cases with ur parter and ace the test.....this is the best insight i can give u about this course..hope it helps

don't waste your money for this course.i failed with a disaster performance.followed all the relevant manuever taught by them but still failed.i failed in the patient note and data gathering.please do not waste your time and money for this course.
