take this book along with you to the exam hall. you will not regret it. you can make reference to it to check up on tiny details in between breaks. most useful revision book. word of caution, if you intend to score in teh high 90's this book is not sufficient. never mind what people say. maybe it is sufficient for medical students but certainly not even for the freshest graduate.

The best books of all

DO NOT JUST STUDY THIS BOOK!!!! It is a great book for pneumonics, illustrations, formulas, and important topics, but it is not enough to pass the exam, much less score high. Study from BRS or Kaplan or Falcon and then use this book along with Step-UP to for the last 2 week review.

  #9

Use this book...but do not allow yourself to merely develop the xerox version; understand it while integrating the other classic sources.

  #10

Well ... let's put it this way ... if you need a fast, efficient, rapid review for the last couple of weeks than you need this magic book.

  #11

a must-have, but not enough for the boards. even though it contains all the facts you need, you need to glean an understanding of the stuff from other sources.

  #12

Go for it, simply the best rapid review before the exam. You might get a headache though when jumping too fast from one chapter to another. Good quality, high yield pictures with explanations. I liked this book very much.

Fantastic effort by the people who made it! Its become very easy to revise at the last moment of exam.Almost each and every important point is covered.Easy to remember the things.Lucid language and good pneumonics.I really appreciate the effort. Thanks for making such a wonderful book for us.

Probably the most important book for USMLE step 1. Some students said that they used only this book for their preparation. It has a high yield section with mnemonics, tables, important facts and it is very appreciated to identify the weak points and also for the month before the exam. The first section of the book has great info about how to prepare, how to interpret the score, and special info for IMGs. The last section of this book has a review of step 1 books used by us students, internet resources.
