I think that the rapid question/answer format encourages you to determine if you truly know the material. In my opinion, I feel as though it can be used as a stand alone text for prepartion with a question bank, specifically USMLEWORLD for Step 2. As a test taker who scored in the 90th percentile, I thought it would be useful to let you know that this text captures many of the nuances tested in the exam. I would not have prepared without it!
