Yeah ..u said co2 not 02.. Okie..I know O2 dissociation curve sigmoid or S shape..and Inc.CO2 shifts this to right and Dec.co2 shifts to the left..

no I mean Co2 not O2. it is significant and helpful in interpreting some questions about Po2 and Pco2 try again kaslam

okie PCo2 curve is linear..unlike PO2 which is saturable and shows plateau..

that is absolutely correct, so what is happening to both po2 and pco2 in hyperventilated patient with shunting(physiological, pathological or anatomical shunting) considering o2 curve is sigmoidal and co2 curve is linnear
