Hey all,
Are the "remembered questions" going around ever repeated on the actual exam or are they really just useful as a guide to how the USMLE asks their questions ...
From people who've taken Step 1 can you please post back to advice whether you saw any/many repeats based on previous "remembered questions" ...

The Remembered Questions and High Yield stuff from 1999 & 2001 were definitely tested on my individual class boards. As far as the Step goes, I really don't remember getting a question and thinking, "I saw that in the Remembered questions." They main use is to probably help you learn something that you wouldn't have picked up on if you saw it in a book and to maybe show you a topic you need to go learn about.
However, I did have a couple repeated questions directly from the questions that the NBME releases every year. I would advise looking at those and reading the explanations that Kaplan gives for those. God bless.
