hi, i got my results 3 months back...it was the biggest shock to me as i had done all the possible things for this exam ---i had 3 revisions with mykaplan's notes, solved q bank, q book, nms and got good scores on my practice tests too.even the the simulated test by ecfmg was gr8 with an average of 75%qts right. my average overall score on q bank was 73-75% right answers and in the end failed by 6 points---176. plz. if u have suggestions on how to deal this and also in case u feel i have points to improve with, lemme know.

Dear Nitivb You can not only improve but u deserve acing the test. It was just a bad day and forget about it. I am sure u will score in 90s if u take the test just after a month. I know you might not be feeling like studyin but all you need now is brush up the same qbanks u did and I think qs will also be from the same lot that u got in the test. So, you have the maximal advantage anybody can have. Failing for 6 points would prove lucky for you when you take the test again. I wish you all the best and I am sure you will do great. Though I havent taken the test yet and will be taking on 23rd august but giving advice is our birthright in this forum

hello, it would definitely be heart breaking for u.consider ur self lucky that u flunked instead of getting scores in 70s. although i havnt taken the exam yet but i would suggest that now u do the qs only as u had already gone thru the theory thrice. also consider doing usmle world mcqs as i ahve heard its mcqs are harder then kaplan's. do them atleast twice b4 the exam take the 3 months course. i can imagine u wont be feeling like studying at this moment. take ur time .make a list of ur weak points and work on those area. all the best.
