kaplan says some B cells which react to self antigen become anergic-non functinal- later in life they can become functional by cross reacting antigens,,,and kaplan says this is the reason tolerance is not as complete as in t cells

but in FA i read that both t and B cells can become anergic

which one is correct?

Hey, where do you see that in Kaplan book?

I am currently doing Kaplan immunology, just finished up to Chap 3 and I don't see what you said...
