i am applying for step1.I was under impression that only medical diploma is needed for application but i read that mdical school transcript is also needed for the acceptance of form.i am from india presently staying in us
i dont have my school transcript but i have the university transcript.
can anybody help me.?
pl .reply urgently.

hi,
yes medical school transcripts are also needed to get ecfmg ceritification...but if u don't have now , and want to appear for step 1 soon...no problem...u can submit ur diploma now and transcripts later may be with step 2 ck application..u can verify detail my calling or mailing ecfmg at info@ecfmg.org..

Hi meghana jadhav,
hey i am applying for step 1 in november and I am sure that we dont need to send the transcript copies right now.We only need to submit copies of the diploma.Plus just in case you might need them later on,so have the transcripts mailled to you as soon as possible cause I am sure you will need them when you are applying for residency match.

hey..i called up ecfmg they told me that i should send my diploma and copies of my 4 yrs academic curriculum..i.e. marksheets..

I am not sure about that,cause my friends who have gone through the process didnt submit all that.
I was just thinking why would they want that,cause we are giving the diploma copies?

so we need to submit just degree certificate and marksheets . but i was planning to send academic transcript too.
