Hello all I have been a silent observer for quite some time now. I would like to say that the camaraderie on this forum is unparallelled. In more ways than one, i have seen strangers help each other out, and for no other reason than that they are people with a strong core belief that their purpose is to help those in need. So kudos, you are already taking the proper steps to become compassionate physicians. SK posted a message i sent him, and thanks for that. On to where I stand. My exam is on monday 7/19. I have moved beyond nervous, and am now anxious to get this thorn out of my side. Much like the rest of you, I have toiled day and night prepping for the one thing that determines what I will do for the rest of my life. I am a little concerned with my numbers, though. As in a previous post by sk, i took NBME this week (<1wk b4 exam), and scored 560, and 550. I have completed 62% of q-bank (up from previous post), and have a cumulative of 71%. ranging from a low of 58 to a high of 80... can't crack that pharmacology, and bsci stuff.Done goljan, webpath, kaplan, along with countless other things, and still seem to be stuck at same scores for the past month. My main concern is this, have any of you ever seen mid-high 90's with my numbers? I am trying to prove to myself that if I work hard, the sky is the limit, but these numbers are not quite screaming that at me. Anyhow, all you people have provided me with the inspiration to study when I just wanna give up, and as such, i will be including you all in my prayers. Good luck on your exams everyone!!!

Thanks for the well wishes. I am gonna relax today, and maybe hang out with a few friends. 1st aid says this is a good strategy. Maybe I am freaking out a little, but the little doses of encouragement go a long way. Thanks again, and god bless.
