spermatocele: collection of sperms in duct system
varicocele: dialtated tortuous veins of pampiniform plexus

i got Varicocele  from experience it is sypmtomless clinically, 25% of normal males have them and in some cases causes Infertility which i hope i am not among them [-o<

well in my case and in most cases it is the Left one b/c the Pappiniformis plexus of the left drains eventually into the Left renal vein which results in a slower blood flow therefore predisposing it to Varicosis.

i would disagree with dariush about infirtility. varicocele is not associated with infirtility. the association between the 2 is just incidental and nothing. this i sgiven in bailay and love's surgery and my profesor confirmed it positively

But do you know any clinical situation with a varicocel on the RIGHT :wink: ?!
(i'm cheating a little bit here because i just had a Urology clerkship )

well i am glad to hear it. however i read it in the SCHWARTZ`s Surgery plus my doctor whome i visited for my problem mentioned this. but i hope you`re right about it. i wanna have kids :cry:

It's right sided renal cell carcinoma. I guess it's by compression or invasion of the IVC and right testicular vein.
