Hello everyone . I wanted to know , when i go for my interview , should i tell the consular at US embassy that I will be going only for step 2 CS , or i should mention that I will be staying back for the interviews and the MATCH .. also I wanted to know if some program directors say that they like for the post , do they sign the contract at the interview or one has to wait for the match ...thanks

just tell the truth, man. these consuls are really really good at telling who's lying and who's not. one hint that you're lying and you're out.

is it true that the consulate people have access to your Step 2 CS dates , or do they rely on the confirmation letter that we show of the particular centre . Do we need show them both the letter , one is the letter from ECFMG satating the validity period of the exam and the other is the confirmation from the site after choosing the date , or we just need the main letter from ecfmg ...thanks
