hi, I have also finished post graduation in my country in pediatrics where it is one of the sought out field.I have finished my step 1 and 2 and will be applying for my match this year,in pediatrics. As far as i know, in US pediatrics is not in the top lists of competitive programs [derm,EM,surgery etc top it].Also among the primary care field programs [i.e like IM and family practice ] it is unfortunately paid less in the job market .If u need more info on the various aspects ,adv, disadv of a program...u can start by going thro first aid for the match. goodluck!
