I guess it will be a good idea to start with"crush the boards".
An heard from few friends that usmleworld is better than kaplan q bank.
what aout goljan's material for step 2???

its good to see all ur posts,so here again we r in the crucial one week period of getting our results,we will pray for everyone,i havent still got my books,still struggling to decide,what do u guys feel,kalsam,docarjun?
anyhyd,u went through both,which one did u find good,blueprints or Kaplan?

Hi guys, It has been 4 weeks now and still nothing updated regarding my scores  :cry: :cry: :cry: Even my ecfmg account is dormant since Aug 16th
I have no Idea what is going on... :roll: :roll: :roll:
I keep on praying and God gives me strength to move on with my daily activities .
I will let u know when they come out.

hello everyone!  i'm so glad you guys are still visiting the forum!
my exam is coming up in more than a week! :shock: this morning i don't know why, but i didn't wanna get up and study. i just wanted to stay in bed and listen to josh gorban :wink: my hubby had to urge me on and so once again, i'm back at my desk. before i hit the books, i just wanted to peek at the forum and see how everybody's doing. this certainly has become my family through all this prep. we're certainly blessed to have each other

it's so disheartening at times when i can't perform as well as i should and could...but then i think of everyone here and how you're all making it through. this forum has definitely become one of my biggest source of sanity and support. my prayers are with you...praying for ur success.

Hi ELM!!!
I am just going mad ,thinking about the big mail.
Feeling kind of tense now.I think this week they might update oasis with our result.There is a war in my mind,wheather to see oasis or now.Or just wait for the main mail.
Kind of strange feelng.Just remebering some of the questions...sometimes i feel i made everything wrong there.
I just want to pass these days fast.
I guess,ELM you wont get all kaplan books till you take their course.If you dont want to take the cource ,you can look for some used books only.
I have heard on usmle forum ,lot of people sell their books.But myself dont feel confident there.The forum is not that proper as this.And lot of people
(non medicos) sell the material,its all commercial thing.I dont know wheather to rely or not.
Its good you orderd crush the boards.
I want to compare blueprint notes and kaplan notes.
One friend of mine is going to give blueprints to me,lets see!!!

I am possitive that you got nice score......... don't worry now...... you will see very soon! Yeah..... check the damn OASIS...... may be it's allready updated............. just try to apply for step 1 if it's allready updated!!!!!! First see if it's updated and if it is just apply for step 1!........ and you will see that you are passed! I am crossing my fingers for your great score! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: ....... you will ..... you will get nice score!
I got the Crush the Board today and it's not that big book compare what i was expected. Still don't know how to get some Kaplan books....... i am planning to get BP's for OB/GYN, and Psych. ..... need to get some Kaplan books somehow.
Anyway .... please stay in touch...... don't get lost like this OK?!?!?! :wink: .......... let me know if you heard of anything from OASIS!

Hope everybody is coping with this anxiety..expectation..waiting for our updates/mail.
Just letting you all know remembering you all in my earnest prayers, praying for the best and for the strength to bear whatever the outcome is!!
Everytime I pray it seems I am in peace, for sure we all should be fine friends lets continue our earnest prayers, guess that is the only way now..nothing can we do other than throwing ourselves into the mighty hands of our protector to accept His will and wish..Right??
Jsmart did u check ur Oasis?? Hope it should be updated by this time, I am sure u will be fine, Docarjun..hang on, as ELm said u will be fine for sure..and if Almighty wills rest of us also will be fine for sure!!!
I Checked Oasis nothing so far, only hoping that I will be at home, by the time I receive my mail :roll: .

Guys ,this week is ours!
Kalsam my oasis has been updated since last Friday :lol: :lol: :lol:
I waited for it and it took exactly 28 days! and THANK GOD I PASSED
Now everything seems to be going slowly :? as I am still waiting for my scores, everytime I come home I find nothing in the mail box May be today! Takes so loooong
I will have Kaplan notes for step 2 but I heard that blueprint books are also good...
Good Luck for your scores !!!

Hi guys. I just talked to someone at NBME....the step 1 people...and they told me that they report the scores in batches on Wednesdays. If you have your usmle id and password you can login to website and check if the score was reported on Wednesdays. It will not give you a pass/fail....God forbid [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< or score....but, it will let you know that they have released the score to oasis. I hope this helps someone. I check mine today.....I was so nervous....could feel my heart beating....shaking....No score for me yet....you guys keep the prayers for me and I do the same for you. I look to see you all on the other side...step 2 .....here we come.

Today may very well be the day :!: Yes, I will check today docarjun. We must have even more confidence and faith as these final days comes. Remember that with God's help all is possible. He has brought us all so far from where we started...through sleepless nights, many hours of studying, fustration, doubt, some of us from other countries to this one,.... I do not believe that he has brought us this far to fail us now....so we must not fail him in our trust and faith....so be confident that we have done all we can do. The rest is left to God to deliver the victory. If the doubt tries to come in the mind just meditate on all the good that God has done for you far.....then you will realized that the God can give you victory on step 1.
