Hi guys,even my exam is tomm,Quinin,i'll prau fro u too,docarjun must be taking her exam today,hope everything goes on well,i cannot thank this forum enough for buiding up my confidence and reminding me always that im not alone in this,hope we all get good scores and get in residency,will write to u after the exam,again,all the best Quinin.

Dear all!!!
First of all thanks to everyone for the prayers and support..esp kalsam,ELM,tasneembanu.....thanks to all!!!!I guess it helped me a lot yesterday!!!!
At the start of the day i was very tense.....when i reached the prometric i just remembered the words of experience from this forum and the prayers.Just felt so cool after that,there was a feeling tht i am not alone.I have few of my friends who are praying for me !!!
Thanks to this forum,it is such a wonderful place!!!!
Some problem with my internet in the night ,i was just waiting when i will tell you guys that i finished with the exam.I was feeling so empty at the end.And in the night i couldnt sleep,was disturbed !!!I am still feeling like going through the books and verify my answers.Strange feeling,though my husband taunts me now there is no use...just enjoy!!!!!!
Regarding test,like kalsam said i have got a mixed feeling....was feeling very empty a the end...no feelings at all.It was just like how it could finish with the 8 hrs in prometric center.I studied so many days and this the end.I guess my mind didnt accept it.
In my test there was lot of mol bio,immuno!!!!Lot of experiemental mice questions.Some of thm were doable but 3-4 i just couldnt do.I jsut made a wild guess and moved ahead.Physiology..also lot of questions on endocrinology.Some of the questions in pharmac i just couldnt recognise the drug only.I will just cross my fingers till i get my score.But i felt reading FA in last days helped me a lot...for micro and anatomy questions of my tesy it was just more than suffiecient.Behavioral science doctor patient relationship questions...they were doable.Just like kaplan qbank!!!Pathology was just like qbank...not very hard questions ,they were doable questions!
Agian like all other said Goljan helped me solve more than 20 questions...which i got answers just by remebering his voice.His lectures were really high yield for me.
It seems questions were more similar to kaplan qbank!!!
Overall if i think about the test ...it was doable.You need to be more alert and just use your basic science knowledge which you gain fromthe books.The only thing is...i should have practised more questions as they ask questions very trickily.I didnt see an questions which i had done before.Just learn to apply the knowledge!!!!!
Ok.....i guess i am not in a position to elaborate it more. I am just dumb for now,thinking about what might have went wrong...just disturbed as it is all over .Nothing in my hands.No i can just wait for the results.

Today its Quinn....and tasneem's day...remembering you both dear friends..hoping and praying that U guys do those blocks great...let u both remember what u have learned so far..and good guessing ..May Almighty be the helper and guider for u both all the way thru!! Ameen.
Docarjun, isn't it so dumb you feel..after all these hardwork, expectation, anticipation..all drama will get over in 7hrs...and we really really don't know how we have done....other than some where in the corner I felt Thank god I am safe...
But stilll we don't want, just pass right..well I don't expect 99...but certainly do in low 90's..if it happens..All praise to God...if not anyscore which can get me in a residency..will be fine..I just accept and move on try again our best in the next step...so just said that lets pray for our scores as the countdown starts for our waiting period..
Yeah..don't worry yaar....lets wait and see what happens.. :shock:

Ye kalsam....feeling very dumb....the 8 hr test took everything away.Nothing in hands now.Its just waitng for the results.I dont know how these 3 weeks will go.
I am feeling very miserable now........its notlike kaplan simulated where you Get score immediately and run back to books again.
Just praying that both quinn and tasneembanu should do it well......God should help them to ace this exam!!!!!!!!!

You guys did your part..... now everything is over ....... since you can't change anything just enjoy your rest of the summer and pray for everybodies result!
Congrates again girls!..... taking the exam is such a big deal itself .... now it's over! 
Let's just hope that we will get what we wanted! Hoorrrayyyyyy!!!!

First I would like to say thank you and God bless you all for the prayers....and continued prayers. I would like special thanks docarjun, kalsam, ELM, mash, tasneembanu, namf, josh2004,... If I forgot someone here...it was not intended...give it to after exam headache. You are all in my prayers. I took the exam yesterday.....and my head is still hurting. I thought that I would be really nervious....not that much. I have completed the exam....now the wait. For what is it the exam offered few surprises.....lots of CT, xray, graphs, EKGs (1 question) and drawing....many I had seen somewhere along the study. Everything was represented evenly. I can say that Goljan is worth every minute of your time...both the lectures and the notes. Qbank....what can I say......a few questions directly.
Topics covered: Diabetes I and II, HIV, hypercholesterolemia, MI, lower limb inervation, hematomas, pneumocytis, drug graphs, CMV, .....
Several questions that required you to make 2 or 3 connections. None of the questions were really long. Sorry if this sounds a little scattered, but I will make the post later because the library will close soon. Don't worry I wrote down as much as I could remember right after leaving the exam.
I will make a post about the specific topics later (some actual questions....I have good visual memory)....got to check if that would be a violation of the rules....I already got the warning. For those that can not wait...PM me.
Once again thanks everyone and continue to pray for me and my score. I will also be praying for all you who took the exam already and those that are to come. To those that will be sitting for the exam.....KEEP GOING....it will definately pay off. I got several question right only because I had just revised the stuff the day before.

My Dear Friends...
How you all doing...life is so busy, seems everything was waiting for my exams to get over I guess, I am just waiting to get back and be with you all..that was a good memory I always cherish...
Everybody, my friends/relatives asks how I have done guys..don't know what to say....If I say something how this forum helped me so much they just make fun of me..they just can't really understand ..but I never mind, everything now depends on our results..just praying for the best!!!
At the end of the day wherever I may be, I remember this little forum..and all my dear friends who gave exams with us..and who is gonno give..with the same names here, but whatever the name it is..Almighty knows the person behind these names for sure, if not me right???

Kalsam,ur very right,during the course of our preparation we really got used to the people in the forum,especially in the "PRAYERS",even me,whenever i get a chance,i take a peek at the forum,felt good to see ur post,so,what have u guys decided ab't Step 2?

Tasneem, ELM, DocArjun, Quinn.....
Hopefully, if Almighty wills, we all will for sure, will make a nice schedule for Step2...yes this time it will not be like Step1, which we didn't know what to do exactly, how to start, which books to choose and how to comprehend things, infact I would say it was all kind off experimental..by the time we realised it was too late.. its almost we were knocking the door..now we really know how to tackle these boards..so we will do it..lets see what happens with our results first!!
Guess we should keep looking for the most rated books..I am also collecting some information here and there..but I felt the good gold standard as everybody says it should be Kaplan, crush the boards,Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment(CMDT) usmleworld, kaplan qbank..and lots of questions no matter which source is it from...
But still again I am confused to do with Kaplan or without Kaplan like Blue prints...I was just looking thru blue prints received by one of my friends I felt good..but can't say anything, 'cause I don't know still how Kaplan notes are..especially we being IMG's we should select things which makes all sense..until unless we take some live Kaplan course..
Infact I was thinking if we have our Davidson..then that would be more comforting I guess..as always Harrison is good reference for everything..
Hopefully this time we all should plan properly...and do our best ever possible..lets just hope and pray that, let everything falls in right place for everybody....if everything seems okie with everybody, then we all set to go..irrespective of we applying for 2005 match or not, because I feel the more gap u give the more we have to dig again..so we I guess, we are in good shape where we were left for Step1, so soon after the green signal..we should just move on I should say..what do you guys think???
Just hoping we all should touch those 90's plus which is a green signal for IMg's like us..but even if we miss by some few marks never mind, still we all can challenge these boards aiming for high in our Step2...
Lets see what happens.. :roll: ..but keep up our faith and lets do what we can do at this time.. right..??

Kalsam I absolutely agree with you ...... yes we should make the best plan and tackle Step 2 as soon as we can regardless whether we aiming for the 2005 match or not!! ........ let's just see how we did on bloody step one and then deside what we need to do!!!!! Your words sound great!

it was really nice to see everyone writing,Kalsam,like u said,ur words were very encouraging,even im a bit confused ab't Kaplan or blueprints,as far as i saw from the ratings,i saw blueprints,but what i heard from friends was Kaplan,still not decided,i think,to start with we can buy "Crsuh the boards"
i might be goin to India for vacation next month,
