Yes, Docarjun..ELM..is in midst of her blocks..I am sure she will do great..remembering her in my prayers as well!!
Another two days..jsmart..is having his test..and then quinn..goes!!
Praying for everyone..keep going friends..today so many thoughts were coming to my mind..as the day gets closer and closer you keep thinking so many unrelevant things..so as they say just tie everything and burry it deep inside the earth..or anywhereelse where u can't even access it until ur exams get over..
Yeah..then we have lotts of time to open and ponder over all other things..I am sure the first one among all ,will be our step1 results 
But never mind lets not think of anything now , just lets concentrate on our studies..slowly..comfartably..with confidence and faith with all prayers for ourselves [-o<

my prayers are with all of you! i think it's so wonderful that there's so much faith among this group, that we recognize that this exam is beyond our own capabilities, that we need the support of friends through prayer and help from God to do our best and beyond. even though i'm sure different religions are represented here, we are praying to the same God who hears our prayers, who will not let our feet stumble, and who will lift us up.

Hey friends....... i didn't know i had this many nise friends talking about me and praying for me.... IT'S JUST GREAT! Nuprin is absolutely right.... this test tests not just the medical knowledge you got.... it tests everything....... we need support from each other and help from GOD! But it's all here in this forum..... this little place is just BREATHING by whole spirit and power! i am so glad i am part of it! I am praying forall of you for the best in your life not just this test.... this is nothing life itself is a big test! Have faith and goal .... you can do ANYTHING! Study hard guys!

hi guys,what Elm said is absolutely true,this forum is a great place,when i started with USMLE i really used to feel lonely,after i became a active participant of the forum,and had a sense of belonging,its really nice to know that people care ab't u.The whole Step 1 is hard experience,but we r getting so many friends during the process,take care guys,we will all make it.

I had to check regularly this forum......it's like as if it were part of my study.... i am so used to communicating with others and my friends here and i can't leave it now ...whener i have chance i have to still get on here and see how you guys are doing .... or whatever reason.....i just have to get logod on here! even my hubby says you spend more time here than studying :lol: .... .........there is something about it!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:
OK Jsmart..... Qq on real thing is little diffirent than the q bank but.... SIMILAR! The qs in the real test are VERY SMART ...... they ask qs very smart way.... whoever wrote the qs are master of their job! But the piont is if you know the stuff .....no matter what way they asking answer is still their and will be waiting for you! So know your stuff and you will be fine!!!!!
Yeah Jsmart this test is one of the tallest obstacles that we have to come over...... for become a HELPER for the sick people..... it's checking if we could help for anyone...... and become MATURE! this is it for us!
Good luck Jsmart......... don't forget to get good rest for the day and you have to forse youself to eat.... otherwise you gonna be tired.... i had to even i didn't wanted to eat..... so eat alot since working brain need alot of fuil! And most importantly JUST THINK IT WAS ONE OF OUR REGULAR DAY... you get up in the morning and live your regular life for that day..... it's nothing diffirent.... except you are gonna be in the diffirnet room and diffirent place .... but you stilll doing that same old same Qs!!!!!! that would make you feel relaxed! agree with ELM, jsmart. she's giving some great advice. some qbank questions are really really picky. these are not like the usmle. other questions are really easy. these represent about 1/5 to 1/3 of the questions you will get. the other qs are conceptually difficult--you have to take two or three steps in logic bf arriving at an answer. these questions are most representative of the usmle.
for example, they'll give you all these symptoms of a biochem disease. you're like, "yay! i know this disease!" then they don't ask you the disease, of course, or even what's deficient. they ask you what happens to some other enzyme if they supply this enzyme or supplement this vitamin or give this drug. two to three steps in logic--you really have to understand what's going on rather than just know the facts. this is why goljan is so great--he teaches you to think this way.
and this forum rocks!!! i lurk on sdn and i hate those people!!!! i'm upset that those people are going to be doctors and potential colleagues. i know in theory as a us med student i should feel competitive with imgs, but i would be more than honored to work alongside any of you.

yeah this forum has made my last prep easier though I haven't done it yet ,whenever I get tired I have to open this site :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: it charges my brain positively .

studentdoctornetwork.com forums. chekkit if you want to be truly frightened about what high scoring jerks you might be working with (at least it seems like they all want to go into gas or rads). just goes to show high scores don't have ANY correlation whatsoever with how good of a doctor a person will be. yuck!!!

namf and nuprin- that's so true, SDN is riddled with too many egomaniacs and there's very few threads there that don't end up with people breaking out into petty arguments/fights. If it's not the score thing then it's usually the D.O vs MD thing which i guess will never end. There are some nice people there who've given out pretty useful info, but aside from that.....well I gotta say this place is a million times better and friendlier!
Oh and I think I missed posting in this thread so best wishes for everyone to rock this exam!
