took the cs last month . its going to be a terribly long wait till the results. any way, i cannot stress enough that time management is the key. the encounters are carefully planned to last for 15 min so if you are out early, it means you have probably missed something. if you think it is a cns case, rush thro the history as fast as you can since the examination takes a long time with the etiquette and counselling etc. the management of the exam by the proctors is very good. i must have drunk a gallon of coffee in the last break to take me thro the last three cases, and when the trauma was all over, spent the rest of the day happily visiting the restroom:-)

the exam is expected to last 7 - 8 hrs. as far as i know, there is no difference from the csa, just the grading scheme has been changed a bit...and they have stated that the level of grading would be decided after pooling data over all centers. I guess the level should go up a bit due to american graduates.

what about pediatric telephonic case. for that too we r given 15 minutes although its more than required time. i dont think all cases require 15 minutes. many of my colleagues and yslef too did most of my encounters in approx 11 minutes and all cleared
