expert of usmle step 2 preparation
i am soo confused of the step 2 preparation sources
i thought blueprints is okay
some says it is kaplan notes
somesays blueprintsisok
somesays blueprints for medicine is garbage
othersays swansonn isnothing and outdated
others says blueprints series is okay and they score good with it
can anybody who studied from blueprints series tells me any feedback for this series and especiallythose who scored high using them plse helpme  :shock: :?: most thankful

Tough question, I studied mostly from blueprints last year and I got a score of 88. If I would take step 2 again I would not use blueprints for internal medicine. If it helps you can check some ratings for USMLE Step 2 CK Books in our resources section. Also you can read some exam experiences on this forum and see what other books have been used.

hello,
i am also preparing for step 2. and i would suggest that u do kaplan only.i have blueprints for surgery and ob gyn and when i compare those to kaplan i think kaplan is much better , covers all important topics and quicker and easier to review.my bro who studied from bluepritns said that it is not sufficient.plus while i was goin thru ob gyn blueprints it is to detailed describing signs and symptoms and etiologies it looked like a textbook.and i think fro step 2 u need book that is quick to review.what ever book u pick just do it from one source eitherr kaplan or blueprints if u pick both u will be confused. most of the people recommend kaplan and crush the boards.
